Apple - Incorporates new Streaming service
Apple has been at the pinnacle of Tech companies since the early 2000s, allowing it to have an incredible grasp of its audience. Its services and technology have reached every country, enabling it to impact globally, for good or bad. As I like to describe it, "The Golden Child," or many might describe it as one of the most impactful companies of all generations. Steve Jobs, the founder and creator of the apple product has left behind an incredible legacy. Apple is known for its computing products and fantastic marketing achievement. Beyond that, Apple has created a product that limits the human brain's capability to process a change to new products. Once you have purchased an apple product, everything on your phone connects to the laptop, tablets, computer, and Tv, which frequently allows you to receive the dopamine your brain desires when you receive notifications. Apple created this fantastic product with the complete intention of having users stay forever. The following product that apple should launch should be a "cable streaming service."
Apple has special software that is frequently released with slim to no change on the actual device itself for the most part. It will be an application owned by apple that allows users to watch live television, tv shows, and movies under the same application or software. It should be allowed for download on your "App Store," allowing the user to pay a small percentage to enjoy everything available worldwide. There are hundreds of different streaming platforms, such as Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, but constantly signing up for a new subscription to enjoy a show or a TV series is quite the headache. Amazon Firestick "Jailbreak" has sincerely saved me hundreds of dollars from subscriptions, attending the movie theater, etc. The jailbreak has allowed me to download Streaming services that would enable me to watch everything I desire with a minimal subscription cost of 50 dollars for the entire year. What limits such a big company from releasing this type of software?
For apple to accomplish this, we must have a Focus group allowing it to engage in business with all the streaming platforms and services. I would also conduct plenty of "Pilot studies are critical in refining measures and reducing the risk that the full study design contains a fatal flaw that will render its results useless." (Babin, B.J. 2018) We encourage Apple users to survey to understand how satisfied or unsatisfied they are with the streaming services. Conducting proper Qualitative and Quantitative will be crucial to comprehend customers feeling and anticipating the platform most affected as that will bring repercussions. You might think companies will not only offer the rights to show based on a simple subscription. It's a movement in the music industry in the late 2000s. The content is free somewhere on the internet. Why are we letting giant corporations dictate where the content is shown? Apple, as the most prominent technology company and service provider, has tremendous leverage here by simply allowing all of its users to subscribe to a membership that will enable its users' free range of content. Data is already being collected from the apple store, allowing apple to view what are its most frequent download regardless of categories. Some secondary research can be conducted on the college campus, gamers, and filmmakers that enjoy the platform.
